Patriots Woes

Updated: Nov 30, 2020

The Pats are back! Yes, those four words express the exact opposite of the title of this post, but the Pats have shown us some life in the past few weeks. Still, they are playing a lot worse than people thought they would. For the first time in what seems like years, the Patriots had a good win. Last week, we beat the Baltimore Ravens with a score of 23-17. They are now currently on a two-game winning streak heading into week 11 against the Houston Texans. Now, the hard part begins.

The Patriots have not been successful at all this season. After starting out 2-1 (we would have been 3-0 if we could have rushed for one more yard!) the Patriots have been only 2-4.

I honestly don't know how we lost to the Broncos. They are just awful!

The Patriots have not met the expectations that we had for them going into this year. Cam Newton has not played to the potential that I believe he can play to and the Pats haven't either. This is what happens when the G.O.A.T leaves us, Julian Edelman can't even catch a ball, and half of our team opts out before the season even begins.

There are some signs of life though. Damien Harris, a second-year running back out of Alabama has been great for us. He just has that ability to not go down. It's as if there have to be five defenders to even bring him down and tackle him. That has been our one bright spot. If we can beat the Texans on Sunday, we will be back at an even record and we just might be able to make a playoff run.

We can all hope.

We needed to beat Denver and Houston to still be in the hunt. Maybe we can have some Cam manic for these last few months.

Yes the Pats are back. Unfortunately, so is Buffalo and Miami. Hopefully there is some Foxboro magic left behind from #12.

Can the Pats really be back without... well... you-know-who. The dynamic duo are now down in Florida whooping it up with nice contracts, and we're left with hope for the future. I suppose that is something, right?
